Design and Dimensions

The wheelbase and length for the standard trim levels is the same at 105.9 and 180.9 inches respectively, although the Woodland Edition and GR Sport trims are slightly longer to accommodate their more unique grille design. The various trims are subdivided into three categories based on appearance: Core (LE, XLE, and Limited), Rugged (Woodland), and Sport (SE, XSE, and the new GR Sport).

Interior and Dashboard

New versions of Toyota’s Audio Multimedia System software are available in the latest RAV4, alongside Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality are once again standard with this model. Additionally, several features are present that were only available in higher-tier models before, including:

• 10.5-inch touchscreen compared to the 2025 version’s eight inches
• Available 12.9-inch touchscreen compared to the 2025 version’s 10.5 inches
• 12.3-inch digital gauge display which was only available in top-level trims for the 2025 model year

Hybrid Powertrains

The new RAV4 has dropped its gas-powered variants, only coming available with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. It was also exclusively only available with four-wheel drive, but now has a front-drive version you can take to the roads with, as well. This model also features overall more power and range compared to its predecessor:

• 236 horsepower for the AWD hybrid, 17 more last year’s model
• 320 horsepower for the PHEV model, 18 more than the previous year’s
• All-electric range of 50 miles for the plug-in hybrid, eight more than the 2025 version
• Fast-charging for the XSE and Woodland trim levels
